The fashion industry in Spain inevitably goes hand in hand with one of its main players in the sector, the Inditex Group. Since its creation in the sixties, Inditex has gradually grown to become globally present. The Spanish multinational clothing company registered a
net income of almost 1.04 billion euros in the fourth quarter of 2022 alone. While Inditex operates on a global scale, the majority of its
stores are located in Europe. And in 2023, five of these Inditex Group’s apparel retailers made the list of the
most valued fashion brands in Spain.
However, with over 23 billion euros in revenue worldwide, Zara was by far the
leading Inditex brand in 2022. In Spain alone, the Inditex flagship brand, Zara España S.A., recorded a
sales value of over 2.7 billion euros in 2023.
